| I was travelling with my mother, who has mobility difficulties, which can make a trip stressful, but we were totally relaxed and on holiday within a few hours of arrival. Ken picked us up from the airport with wheelchair service right to the car. I echo reviews of this place, with spectacular views, lovely pool, terrace, sitting room, crisp sheets, fluffy towels and robes. But it was the welcome and company of Ken and Erika that made our trip. By the first night we had been welcomed, had a tour of La Casa, ate delicious homemade lunch, a swim in the pool, a siesta, my first tango lesson and we were truly relaxed with a glass of wine on the terrace. The place is wonderful and Ken and Erika made us feel like extended family, nothing was too much trouble. The price was modest for the wonderful facilities, but you can't put a price on the care and attention. It was clear that if we wanted more "space" then we could have it, but we preferred the company and Erika even drove us to Colmenar and lunch in a nearby village so we did not feel the lack of a hire car at all. The tango! You don't need to dance to enjoy this holiday, but I got to dance and mum time to relax. I have only been dancing for 4 months, so I still have a lot to learn. Ken was a fantastic partner, with Erika teaching as well. With mirrored dance studio there was nowhere to hide! I did over 8 hours of dancing over the three days. We went to a milonga in Malaga old town. Wonderful! Even as a novice newcomer I got to dance with four men. On the last day I filmed a few dances. Will I return? Oh Yes! Ruth Dickens - Goole - April 2011 | | My boyfriend and I were more than impressed with this wonderful place. Spectacular ever changing panoramic views, beautiful terrace with spotless pool, boutique hotel standard bedrooms and bathrooms with luxurious towels and dressing gowns and all toiletries you've forgotten, delicious breakfast and evening meals, all questions answered about local walks/directions/national park/pueblo blancos, free wifi. Erika and Ken are perfect hosts, I can't fault this place! Wish we'd booked for longer. Alice and JP - Liverpool - July 2010 | | We've spent 16 fabulous months touring Europe and this is one of the best places we've visited. The location is spectacular, the food is fantastic, and our hosts were warm, funny and friendly. We particularly liked the big comfortable bed, lots of huge fluffy towels, and exceptionally good food and drinks. And if you're thinking of trying a Tango lesson, we learned more in two hours than we've learned in a year of classes at home! Sam and Michael Robinson - Yorkshire - March 2010 |
| I recommend this B&B highly. Erika and Ken are very warm and gracious hosts. The home is newly built and the furnishings and accomodations are immaculate. It being a chilly March day, we didn't use the pool but would have in a flash. It is located on a broad patio that overlooks 270 panoramic views of the Malaga Mountains and several white-washed villages in the distance. Erika and Ken live onsite, but you don't feel like you are intruding. Viara Harik - Arizona - March 2010 | | Just returned from a wonderful tango holiday at Casa Media Luna. Ken and Erika are first class hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, I felt very at ease in their home and was disappointed to have to leave and come home. The food was fresh and tasted great, the views are wonderful. The dancing classes are very relaxed, they go at your own pace and Ken and Erika are very patient. I would love to return on holidays to Casa Media Luna again! Robert - Dublin - October 2010 |
| We stayed at Casa Media Luna for four wonderful days. Erika and Ken made us feel so welcome, a true home from home. We went on a Tango break, but also to explore the area and we were not disapointed with either. The Tango tuition was brilliant and gave myself and my husband much more confidence with the dance as we have been struggling to learn it for nearly a year! Our friend Carmen, who is much more advanced in Tango also learnt lots. Erika is full of information about the area. We will certainly be returning in the not too distant future.
