The entire villa including the outside terrace and pool area is built on one level with no steps.  The house offers all modern facilities including hot/cold air conditioning and is beautifully decorated.  There are fly screens and shutter blinds fitted to all windows and doors.

Lounge

There is a large living room where we invite guests to make themselves at home incorporating a wood burner for a cosy feel on cool winter nights with satellite TV including the main UK terrestrial channels, Spanish TV, DVD player and DVD library, stereo and a piano for anyone wanting to tinkle the ivories. The whole house has wifi internet connection.

Kitchen

We have a stylish fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons where we will prepare your meals.  The guest rooms do not have tea and coffee making facilities but we will make you fresh tea and coffee whenever you want it.  Cold drinks are available in a guest fridge in the dance studio.

‘Comares’ room – double bedroom with en-suite bathroom

Named after the village perched on a rocky outcrop and visible in the distance from the bedroom window the ‘Comares’ room is a large luxury double bedroom with a king size bed and matching furniture.  The en-suite bathroom has a large separate shower, sink, bidet and WC with electric points and a large well lit mirror. Bed linen, house towels, pool towels, bath robes, travel sized toiletries and a hair dryer are provided.

The ‘Solano’ room - double bedroom

The ‘Solano’ room is a luxury double bedroom with a double bed and matching furniture. This is directly adjacent to the large house bathroom. Bed linen, house towels, pool towels, bath robes, travel sized toiletries and a hair dryer are provided.

House Bathroom

The house bathroom has a large separate walk-in shower, sink, bidet and WC with electric points and a large well lit mirror.

Outside

There are two fully tiled terraces with magnificent mountain views, one with shade and seating area and one surrounding the 8x4 metre swimming pool with sunbathing area and sun loungers.  This is where you will probably want to spend most of your time, relaxing on sun loungers, swimming in the pool and eating al fresco under the shade. As the sun sets the views transform and you will see beautiful star constellations and pretty twinkling lights of the villages nestling in the distant mountains.

Breakfast

The continental breakfast consists of freshly baked bread, croissants, toast, fruit juices or home made smoothies, cereals, yoghurts, jams, local Colmenar honey, fresh fruit, tea and coffee.

Daytime snacks and refreshments

For your convenience and comfort whilst you are relaxing at the villa, there is a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including a selection of local wine, available to purchase from the guest fridge.  There is a snack menu available with a selection of home made tapas, pizza, freshly baked baguettes and ice-creams or if you are in the mood why not take afternoon tea on the terrace with Erika's delicious home made cakes.

Evening Meal

There are plenty of good restaurants in and around Colmenar but if you fancy a relaxing evening at the villa we will provide a light 3 course evening meal (including half bottle of wine per person) for a charge of 24€ per person.  We use local produce where possible including our own olives and almonds, Colmenar honey and local meat from the famous Colmenar butchers. Evening meal can be taken inside or outside on the terrace and special diets can be catered for. 

No smoking allowed inside the house but an area is provided outside for smokers.

Sorry, no pets allowed because we have two lovely, well behaved working cocker spaniels called Paddy and Bridie.  They are friendly with children and they are not allowed access to the bedrooms, bathrooms, pool or sunbathing terrace.
